New project and Shitty camera

So my camera is a piece of fucking shit! It's like the lens is covered, but it's not! So any picture I take is just black. I don't understand what happened because last night I used it to take a picture of my cat inside my hoodie, it turned out blurry, I turned the flash on, took another picture, and just BLACKNESS!

But on a happier note, I just bought some multicolored yarn that I plan to knit some socks out of. I'm kind of iffy when it comes to using multicolored yarn for certain things, but this sock pattern is made for multicolored yarn so I'm pretty excited. Don't worry, I still plan to keep working on the Darkness Redness Whiteness Scarf,  it knits up pretty fast, but I have this problem focusing on one project until it's finished, so that's why I bought yarn for socks. I also have to finish my Chuck slippers and find motivation to get started on the Legend of Zelda blanket.

Also not to mention the camera problems, but my internet has been slow as fuck lately, taking up to 5 minutes to just load a page. I usually don't complain about this kind of shit because when I was younger we lived out in the middle of nowhere and literally had the slowest dial up connection ever, but when I'm paying for high speed internet, I expect it to be high speed internet.
Here's the yarn I'm making socks out of, I would just put the picture in here, but my camera's BROKEN and the my internet SUCKS and won't even open the little box of pictureness that I could link the picture in! I don't know if that made sense to you, I'm just upset.

Darkness Redness Whiteness Scarf Update

Just finished the 'O'. This isn't the greatest angle to view it from, my apologies. But I just wanted to show how you can start seeing the letters. ^_^ I'm probably going to have to block this because my cast on row is pretty tight compared to the other rows I've knitted so far.

Honey Badger doesn't give a Shit

This adorable little guy was made as a gift for a co-worker because of our Secret Santa thing. Her nickname is Honey Badger and this was the only thing I could think of giving her. I made up the pattern myself, which I do with a lot of things. I just crocheted until I got a shape I liked, and if I didn't like it, I frogged it and started over. So it was sort of a time consuming project and I tried so hard to finish it before she left for New York, NY for Christmas, and I did, but then we closed early so she didn't end up working and didn't get it until January.
I used a half double crochet for everything except the white stripe. The grey piece was made separately and sewn on, then I used a single crochet for the white working around sewn edge of the grey piece.

Here are some more pics of crocheted Honey Badger (I think clicking on them makes them bigger) :

Baneling Key Chain

This is a crocheted baneling key chain I made for an ex-boyfriend of mine. It's about 2 inches long, maybe? I didn't exactly measure it. But I think it's adorable. I know he liked.

Comissions

I'd just like to let anyone know who would like me to make something, to email me and let me know what they would like. My email should be listed as at the top of the page, if not comment and I'll post it. Just put 'Commission' as the subject line. I will email you back with how much I would charge and any other info you would need.

Update on Darkness Redness Whiteness Scarf

So this is as far as I've gotten, the 'T' is almost done in 'Tobuscus'. I've gotten I a couple more rows done since this picture. Hopefully this will get done pretty quickly and I can post the done pictures. :D

My Prom Shoulderette

I knitted this to go with my strapless prom dress for my junior prom. I got the pattern from the book Punk Knits, I also used a pattern to knit a matching tie for my boyfriend. It was pretty cool getting compliments form people when they found I made the shoulderette and the tie. Here's a picture from prom.
Hard to see all of the tie.

Hamburgesa Con Queso

I crocheted this hamburger for my younger brother who loves to pretend he works at a restaurant. The pattern I followed instructed me to sew it together using clear fishing line, but I decided to leave it as the individual pieces. My brother didn't end up playing with it that much so I took it back and sold it at a craft...to my grandmother. Apparently me telling her I would make her anything she wanted for free wasn't good enough and she bought it from me quite forciblely.

Naughty/Nice Scarf

This is the first thing I ever knitted. I actually taught myself how to knit just so I could make this scarf. I got this wonderfull pattern from the book Son of Stitch 'n Bitch, which I received for a gift from a ex-boyfriend when we had first started dating. This scarf took me over a year to make because I'm excessively slow at knitting and there was a few months that I hadn't even worked on it. I love showing this scarf off and I'm really proud to say "Hey! Look at the first thing I ever knitted!" and everyone's like "Wow, that looks really hard, it must have taken a long time," and I'm like "It's not that hard," and then people look at my like I'm a cocky asshole. Ha! But really it's not, it just uses purl and knit stitches in alternating rows to make the picture appear from a certain angle.
I really love how it just looks like a stripped scarf and no one knows that really, I have a pole dancer one my scarf. Oh! I also love how its about 8ft-ish long and almost hangs to my feet when I wear it.

Scarf of Darkness then Redness then Whiteness

So I'm starting a illusion/shadow knit inspired by Toby Turner. It'll be and black, red and white striped scarf with "Tobuscus" as the hidden image only visible from a certain angle. I'm not sure how long this will take, but in the mean time I will probably make posts on past projects, starting with the epic Stripper Scarf, which was also made using illusion/shadow knitting.
Also check out  Toby's youtube stuff,(<- link) he's pretty fantastic. Sponsor.

Ugh!

Okay so it's been forever since I did an update on my blanket, well because I pretty much stopped working on it. I think I have 8 squares made and scattered about my apartment. But I've got some new ideas for new projects and and started 2 projects. I'm working on crocheted Chuck Taylor slippers and spent and couple hours charting letters on graph paper for a totally fantastic scarf that I will knit using shadow/illusion knitting. I've written one other pattern for a shadow knit scarf, but never actually got around to working on it. So hopefully I'm writing this pattern right and it'll work out good and I won't get frustrated. But I'll probably get frustrated and stop working on it, but then I'll work on it again. Ha! It's late, I'm tired, I'm watching weird videos. There should have been an "and" in there but I don't care. LOL
Hint: Audience?!
