Baby Sandals

I girl I work with is having a baby girl, and she requested that I make her some baby sandals. These aren't that actual one she wanted, but I used the same colors (pink with white flowers).  So, these were the most butt-fucking ridiculous things I've ever tried to crochet. I took me two and a half hours to finish just one sandal. I consider myself to be a fast crocheter, but it took fooorever to just finish one of them. And I was having such a hard time following the patter, like I don't even know what I was doing because I either had too many or not enough stitches in the previous round. And in conclusion, I, Sabrina "Bena Babysox" Becker, with never crochet baby sandals again. I don't care how much you beg. I don't care how completely adorable your child is. I don't care how much you pay me. I will never make baby sandals again. I will make blankets, hats, jackets, bootie, but I will not make sandals. Gah! It wasn't even that bad, but I just never want to make them again. I do suppose if you offered me enough money, I probably would make some lol.

Update on Rainbow Dash

So here's a vlog I did showing off Rainbow Dash. She has a little bit more hair now since this video is now a week old. I've been trying to do daily vlogs, but I can't find the charger for my video camera!
I've also started a pair of baby flip flops for a girl that I work with. They're going to be pink with white flowers. I'm planning on making her a pair of black flip flops also with pink flowers. I'm hopefully going to get some pictures up soon of those, but my camera's been acting goofy again. And I don't really feel like typing anymore so have a fantastical night.

Rainbow Dash

Rainbow Dash starting to get her mane attached. It looks pretty wild, but its quite easy to move the hair around. I've almost got all the green strands done, just need to attach those, then I can start on the blue and purple strands and begin working on the tail. Hopefully it goes pretty quickly and then I can attach her wings. Then it'll just be the little details like eyes and cutie mark.
The next pony I will start will be Pinkie Pie just because I have left over yarn that happens to be the exact pinks I need, then Fluttershy because I also have the colors to make her.

Well....

So here's the deal, I'm not moving to the Wisconsin Dells anymore, because I got in a stupid fight with my friend I was moving there with. So I've been working on some small crochet projects, just so I can some posts up for my peeps to read. Kevin is trying to eat my fingers while I type this.
This is going to be Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. I'm working on her mane and tail at the moment which is pretty time consuming, for me anyway. Sorry I don't have pictures of that, I might take some.
I made some cute little butterflies, its about the size of a tea-light candle and I think It's absolutely adorable.
The black one is Kevin, and the greyish one is Matt Cat. Matt is a girl. Kevin is a boy.

I'M MOVING!!!!

Sorry I have not posted in quite some time but I haven't really been working on anything since I've moving to the Wisconsin Dells! And have spent most of my time going through my stuff and decided what to get rid of and what to pack. Hopefully I will start vlogging soon, which I'm excited about. So subscribe to my Youtube channel youtube.com/sweetbloodsheena and I'll get the ball rolling on getting some vids out there. Want to hear something crazy? Last Wednesday, the building, three buildings over from mine burnt down. And I didn't even know it was on fire until like and hour after the fire started....yeah... But it was pretty crazy and it smelt really bad in my apartment the next day. So that's all I got for today. Have a great Monday my peeps. :D

Sushi Scarf

I crocheted this scarf. I thought the pattern was pretty cool and adorable, and I just happened to have the right colors in some bags of yarn I got from my great-aunt. So this scarf was totally made with left over yarn and that made me really happy because I don't really like being wasteful, that's something I kinda learned from my mom's side of the family.

First World Promblems

This is a Pop-tart iPod holder I made for my younger sister for Christmas. Her favorite kind is the Wildberry  so that's what it's supposed to look like. She wanted me to make her something and I delivered. This is the first thing I knitted that I made the pattern for. Basically what I did was knitted a long rectangle and then folded it in half and sewed up the sides. As far as I'm aware, she still uses it, which is pretty cool since I made it about two years ago.
On a different note, do you want to know something really frustrating?
Well, I wrecked my keyboard, so I had to buy a new one like a week ago or so and unsuspectingly I got one that has a giant "enter" key, which drives me crazy and if I would have realized it, I wouldn't have gotten this key board. And because it has the stupid giant "enter" key, the backslash (this one: \ ), is now squished up by the backspace key, and that drives my absolutely bonkers because I'm used to having a bigger backspace key and every time I try to delete mistakes I get this " \\\\\\"!!! I'm not even joking. Man, first world problems right here.
